Introducing our Airline Partners

We’re not ones to brag, but handling hundreds of couriers across 45 countries and five continents is no mean feat. With over £203 billion worth of goods travelling through Heathrow per year, the level of coordination and logistics needed can’t be done by one party alone.
And that’s where our valued airline partners come in.
We’re proud to work with more airlines than any other cargo handler at Heathrow. That’s over 30 of the world’s largest airlines who trust us to be the ones helping move goods in and out of the airport.
If you’re interested to know how it’s all possible, and what benefits this could bring to your business, you’re in the right place.
A brief background
Our specialist courier and express handling services means we can work with all the airlines at Heathrow. We’ve currently got over 30 on our books and are always adding more. We like to think of ourselves as the matchmakers of the air cargo world (more on that later), as well as being a real catalyst for commerce and trade.
But…why exactly?
Well, it’s mainly down to our experience, innovation, and unique business model (we were created from a shareholding of airlines, couriers, and integrators, so our pedigree is pretty impressive).
Plus, our specialist courier and express handling services are backed up by cutting-edge digital and data capabilities, and this allows us to make complex things happen at a cost effective price.
More than this, our airside location and broad airline customer base help make movement a breeze. We have close working relationships with all of the ramp transport providers, which supports airside movement of courier goods directly between the aircraft and CFL. And because of our airside location, courier goods are often delivered to us first and collected last, helping our customers save time.
This seamless interface between us and our airline partners allows for later export cut-off times, and an expedited check-in and delivery service for our import customers. Pretty handy for those situations when only ‘urgent’ will do.
All in all our offering is unique at Heathrow, making it highly valued across our airline customers and the courier community.
Key benefits for customers
Ability to move a wide range of commodities
By being the critical gateway between UK couriers and some of the world’s largest airlines, we’re able to offer a variety of courier services for a wide range of commodities, including:
- – B2C eCommerce, from low value and large volume to low volume and high value
- – Retail items including garments, textiles, electronics, and toys
- – Fashion, from samples to both luxury and fast fashion
Easier collection and delivery for drivers
By investing in technology and handling automation, we can help drivers register, check-in, and select their collections from our import self-service kiosk. Then, upon registration, the goods are immediately displayed to our warehouse, ensuring a rapid retrieval from their storage location and delivery to the import release doors. From there, bags are delivered into the back of a collection vehicle using telescopic belts, resulting in an improved loading time and minimising manual handling.
And if that’s not all, our large airline portfolio gives you the opportunity to consolidate your deliveries and collections.
Greater flexibility and lower costs
Put simply, our discounting tariff means the more you do with us, the less you pay. Our tiered bag pricing tariff provides a graduated pricing structure that rewards higher volumes.
Plus, both export and import bag handling charges are billed directly to our courier customers. Through it all you’ll get full-cost transparency and invoicing simplicity.
More options for consignments, flights, and airlines
By investing in barcode labelling, automated screening, and bag lane segregation we can help you deliver multiple consignments for multiple flights and multiple airlines all in one delivery.
This helps your business create efficiencies with drivers and vehicles, saving time, resource, and money. Similarly, our import customers are able to consolidate their collections from several different flights or airlines too.
Unparalleled access to airlines
We’re in the unique position of having close working relationships with a large portfolio of carriers from across the courier community. Being such an integral link in this supply chain allows us to create close ties between airlines and courier customers. Consider us the matchmakers of the air cargo world!
Not only does this help save time and resource for everyone involved, it can create significant cost-saving benefits too.
